This is Hoobastank with Right Before Your Eyes. You might recognise this from the Daredevil soundtrack. This was a good theme for Lucas, especially in Part 2 of the book. It’s a song that defines the changes he goes through, physically and mentally, leading up to and including his second fight with Thorne.
